Nate: What up what up? I return from the Grad school grave in Eburg. I am now graduated, though lamely unemployed in our wonderful current economy. I want to get back in the games if you'll have me. BEN: gabe, I'd like to switch my "designer baby" stat bonuses: +5% from intelligence to ballistic skill and +3% from willpower (perception?) to Agility. If that's ok...I'm trying to make a generalist character, so I'd like to spread the love a bit.

I'm going to put this here instead of up there, as it is Mass Effect related. So, are you all okay with a starting adventure of being in the Citadel when it is attacked? Do you want to RP that out (yes there will be fighting, running, jumping from exploding things)? Or would you rather me just write something up and let you all kinda just shoot the shit for the first hour to establish how characters interact and make up things ("Remember that time on planet y, when we dug up what we though were mummies and it ended up being an old ship drive?")?

BRANDON, let me know what kinda character you wanna play, I'll put him/her in as staff. Like race, class, thanks.

Also, don't go by the starting equipment in the book, I'll give each character some nice stuff. Plus a group pool of items to take from. I like that sheet Brandon had made up in cyberpunk, stolen!

Edmiao my character is going to be a Nate archetype. i've always wanted to play one, times here. Gabe, suggest an appropriate race and class. there will be much drinking of alcohol and bar fights and generally kicking ass all over yo mamma. maybe some sneaking in places to kick peoples asses and steal their stuff. lots of shooting guns, but preferably stabbing with knives. much yelling. His name shall be Krolm, nickname Wrath, or WOK (for Wrath of Krolm) (anyone ever play a computer game called Majesty: The Fantasy Kingdom Sim?) KROLMMMMM!!!

And a Krogan would fit well. But reall Ed, your not going to be able to play without doing a little bit of reading. I suggest you go read the Krogan entry on the wiki.

--Dieter the Bold 23:42, 29 June 2009 (MST) Take a read on my character sheet NSP17A-Fizzak for my theory on our backgrounds, Ed. And I'm down with either start, Gabe. Personally I'd prefer to do both. Do a little stand-up philosophizing in the beginning. Play through some of the Citadel attack (like maybe a firefight to protect our shop and employees, maybe a rescue/team-up with our contacts to establish some hooks), then on to some more bullshitting and some kind of dig.

ALSO: Since we're going to be regularly down a man, I've had Charles (Jason's friend and business partner) express interest in joining up. I've encouraged him to post here himself so we can palover. Just FYI.

Ed: ok i read dieters thing. What was the take home questions i was supposed to answer?

I read krogan on the mass effect wiki. Sounds good. Not sure about added dimensions from the reading.

--Gdaze 10:01, 30 June 2009 (MST) Thats fine Ed. Long as you read up on their current happenings. But you have to come up with a reason to stick with the characters. For example, Krogan are known to do anything for money, what will keep you from just turning around and blasting your own dudes for money?

Eg., this history has you liking Fizzak enough to want to defend him from trouble. 3) Have you told us anything else about your past? 4) What do you get up to when we're not out on a dig?

--Gdaze 15:37, 30 June 2009 (MST) Alright, so the first adventure will take place right before the Geth attack the Citadel. Here is how we will set it up.

Blackeye has invited Fizzak and Krolm to a local pub to met up. He also of course wants to introduce his good friend Alistar. The adventure will begin with the two humans at the pub, and the two aliens just a block away.

Stuff will then happen, wooooooo.

After that we will jump to the present. The character will be returning from a recent outting, when.... More to come later!

Edmiao how much time will pass between the prelude and the present?

Fight the dragon, kill it

Lyra told us where to find the freezing Tears of _____ so we can put out the dragon's breath, right before she extinguished the eternal forge flame in our temple (bitch) by sucking its soul out like a vampire. She will help us fight the dragon. In return we agreed to let her strike the killing blow IF we successfully obtain the Tears. Other allies could also be enlisted in the fight.

Deal with the dragon

Give the dragon something he wants more than Danny. Say the Ruby shield or freeing Iximion.

Free Iximion, tell him Oryxis is getting up in his magic shit and doens't he want to kick the shit out of Oryxix for learning magic?

--Gdaze 09:21, 23 June 2009 (MST) We raided the Forge's stash. Turns out the Prince took all the shiney stuff, which is actually the weaker stuff. I got a box. Matt got a sword, and we went into the old ways and had it forged by some old dwarf witch. My shadow self called out to my crow and killed it. Oh, there is now basically a pirate town on the island as well. We went to see the fairy king who was way more relaxed then before but still a dick. Matt met the new guard of the fairy bridge.

Oh, and there is a big political scuffle at the Forge (mostly due to our request). It isn't too bad right now though.
