This page is for discussion of stuff related to the game coming up this week, no matter when that actually is. For instance, we can all assume Nate isnt coming for some lame reason and that Ed is sick of pizza and is bringing teriyaki or some other crap. They can post something here if that happens to be untrue.

--Dieter the Bold 18:48, 26 May 2007 (MST) FOOLS!!! (meant in the attention getting sense, not in the perjorative one) Ben has instructed me to declare a boardgaming day on Monday, in memorial of all those who have protected our freedom to play awesome boardgames. It's also a day no one should be working. So, boardgaming in the afternoon/evening on Monday, 5/28. Ben called when I was asleep, so I'm pretty sure he volunteered his place for the event, but if anyone else wants to toss out a location, I'm sure that would be awesome as well. Ben may have also specified/requested a specific game, but again, mostly asleep. I'd like to request Settlers again. I will also confirm my attendance.

--Edmiao 13:43, 27 May 2007 (MST) revised. 50% chance that cheryl and i can make it. she had a lighter day so far today and got home early. we have a myriad of games in addition to settlers. sure we can find one that jason likes or has not played before.

Ben here: I had proposed it with settlers in mind but I'm open to other ideas: it sounds like we may not have enough people for settlers anyways. I will be working in the morning/early afternoon but should be available in the late afternoon/evening. Additional note: I think I'm going to go see the movie "battle of wits" tomorrow at SIFF at 3:30 at the Neptune. After that, I'm game to do some boardgaming (6-6:30 I should be ready). I thought my place would be available, and had intended that originally, but Heather has to study so my place is out. I think that if someone says they can host sometime tonight, then we should go ahead and play something...if no one is able to step up by the end of tonight (sunday), I guess we'll reschedule. Ben again: just picked up a used copy of company of heroes...so maybe I'll be able to join the tuesday night thing sometimes...for which I need windows XP or Vista...fuck.

As an easy alternative, We could get a group together and just hit a pub with the game we want to play: I know a pretty good german place near my work. Anyone in for that?

Dune BITCHES!!!!!

So Im almost done reading Dune, and since you jokers are playing in a space game I thought you might be interested in the following activity. I have purchased the David Lynch version of Dune, and the Sci Fi Channel Dune and Children of Dune miniseries'. My plan is to have a megaDune marathon some weekend day. Skippy got a new super huge HD widescreen tv, and it would be perfect for this event. Anyone who wishes to attend is invited. If interested, let me know what day would work best. Also, I got the Dune boardgame (won it, hasnt arrived yet), so I have included quite possibly the bestestest board game review EVAR!!1 [1]
