I'm with Ed that 8 is fine, and if people are chomping at the bit to role play, I've got some stuff that can be done earlier that might be fun yet inconsequential. Also, Tara is totally an NPC, so you are going to have to pick one of the other characters, though I'm sure you were really looking forward to the acting challenge of your life (you could've won an award a la My Left Foot). Anyway, I'm perfectly willing to switch genders on character if you aren't in a mood to gender-bend, but you are certainly welcome to gender-bend, if you so wish!
JASON: Friday is the premier of Hellboy II, so I will be at that. Also, I am one of those people Brandon mentioned (fantasy and high tech dont mix). I have played Shadowrun and it has some really good system ideas. It also has some strange things, like vat grown muscle grafts is a higher humanity loss than implanted metal cybernetic muscle. In any case, I am sure you guys can have a good game with 3 players, thats what we have every week.

I've just purchased tickets for myself and kim for SATURDAY, JULY 19th at 9 PM at the seattle IMAX. Anyone else who wants to come see THE superhero movie with us on THE big screen, feel free.
KIM: My friends are NOT coming up from Portland, therefore we now have two spare pre-paid tickets to IMAX... who wants them?

--Brandon 23:25, 7 July 2008 (MST) Ben, sorry that I didn't come by; time got away from me and it was past 9:30 before I knew it. I'd like to come by at some point this week to pick up the Shadowrun book. Let me know a good day/time to come by, and if some faeries get into a fight with some elves while I'm there, so be it. I'm getting kind of excited about the prospect of running a one-shot, so I should have the book around.
JASON: The Tukwila Half Price Books has a ton of books for Shadowrun, both editions.
JASON: Also, I will be having a massive shindig for mine and Rumi's birthdays on either August 30th or 31st. I would like to see as many of you jokers as possible attend. Mark it on your calendar. I am planning on renting a venue so we have plenty of space for games, Rock Band, and partying. Does anyone know of a centrally located, reasonably priced, venue?
GABE: I'd like to come, I'm trying to be more social. A central and big location for partying thats cheap? *insert your mom comment*

JASON: There is a Port Angeles ferry? I have used the Mukilteo/Clinton card to make a ridiculous Whidbey Island deck. It always seems to remind me of The Fountainhead by Ayn Rand.

I thought once everyone was done, that was it, but I guess not, you can keep the stack going... HMMM!

JASON: I am in the process of making a giant magic buy. If it comes to pass I can sell you guys cards cheap, 10 cents for commons, 25 cents for uncommons and a buck for rares. Its mostly the newest 3 blocks too.

Since we will only have 3 people present, I believe the night will focus on some personal issues for each character, ending with a bit of a cliff hanger. So some themes to be ready for and thinking about are below. I DO still want to run were-wolf for as long as everyone wants too, but could wrap it up in a month... depending on how the players fair.

BEN: we battled the juice for a bank and the juice's reputation, then we battled silver skinned dudes for hostages at the museum of natural history, then we battled a giant demon for hot girls about to be sacrificed to an artifact, then we battled Cortez, who possessed Brim and sent ancient Aztec spirits to kick our asses and flew off in a giant steampunk ship in Brim's body. You know, the usual.

MATT: August 1, yes. We'll run supers. Brandon not being there works out well for the particular story, and Ben not being there just means there will be some close shaves! We can certainly work in a Teletraan-7 prequel if desired.
