--Dieter the Bold 15:16, 27 July 2008 (MST) Actually, I think the smaller group will work in our favor. There's not such a large pool of experienced players to dominate so Anita has a chance to be a prime mover and find her legs for the game. And Nate's always awesome for shaking things up. 3.5 players seems plenty for a game, so I vote we keep it on.
--Gdaze-- Yeah but experienced players can actually help when new people come along. Noelle's person is actually finished so she could play too. But if Nate doesn't show, which is always a chance I dunno.... I'd say Matt should talk to Anita if possible. I'd feel really akward if I was the only full time player attending.
That said, even if we don't, anyone wanna meet for a little magic around 7-ish?

Monday, July 28th: Ben: I just realized that I leave thursday night, and I play soccer tomorrow and do Gymnastics on Wednesday. So...I thought we should hang out tonight for a couple hours. We can make OAAAA characters, play some magic, eat, watch Rome, i don't really care what the agenda is, I figure just kick it. If you have preferences for what be done, post here, or just show up sometime after 7.

JASON: Also, I will be having a massive shindig for mine and Rumi's birthdays on either August 30th or 31st. I would like to see as many of you jokers as possible attend. Mark it on your calendar. I am planning on renting a venue so we have plenty of space for games, Rock Band, and partying. Does anyone know of a centrally located, reasonably priced, venue?
GABE: I'd like to come, I'm trying to be more social. A central and big location for partying thats cheap? *insert your mom comment*
KIM: Oooh, I'll be back in town then, might have a job that weekend, but will try to keep it during reasonable hours so that I can show up and commandeer the potato chip bowl... *nom nom nom*

The only venue I could think of that's sorta' central and maybe reasonably priced is an educational building. Gym of a high school, community college, Seattle U., etc.

JASON: Yes, the first number is price and hte number after is how many he has.
JASON: I just bought a big batch of cards. We should get together and have a trading extravaganza.
BEN: played in a sealed deck tourney on saturday. Got spanked like an altar boy: 0-4. BUT, I did get a shit-ton of awesome rares...they just somehow didn't come together into a great deck. Everyone who showed up got a rare "figure of destiny" foil, and somehow I ended up with two, which was sweet. I traded one for the prerelease foil overbeing of myth. I also scored 2 lieges, the red-white spirit avatar, and ashling the extinguisher, among a couple other rares.
BTW jason, I still have your cards that I bought for you. I should get those to you sometime soon.

I will likely continue to have several absences or tardies over the next several months with visitors and surgeries and such (cheryl's surgery probably august 14th), so i defer to others on the decision, and would anyway since i'm fine with either.
--Edmiao 18:41, 21 July 2008 (MST) thought about this more on way home. i think that, gabe, if you have some interesting plots brewing or have directions you would like to see the game go, then we should continue. if you are scratching your head, or if you are more interestedin OAAAA, then we should switch. so i defer to gabe, not the other players.

--Gdaze -- Correct! I think we left off on a good place, revenge was had, although motives are still missing, and the characters proved themselves in a trying battle.
By the way, you guys really did well by taking the tree. That was one of the focus points of the attack. It was going to be converted into a toxic caren that would help produce evil dudes. I didn't even consider it could be recused, so that was very cool. Also we could of had this go on longer, but I didn't have much planned after finding out and defeating the Silver Fang. Nicely done all!
