Commodore (Rear Admiral, Lower Half) Donald Hanlon is the captain of the USS Blackheart and commanding officer of Task Force: Triangle. He has a storied service record spanning more than 30 years and is a recipient of the Grankite Order of Tactics. The Chandley Class Frigate is based on a design he submitted for a patrol vessel he envisioned as the backbone of the border fleets.
