Daniel Armstrong

Daniel Armstrong is a retired US Air Force combat controller and principal character in Exposure. He has been retired for 6 years and is struggling to find his identity without the structure of military life. This has led to an increasing inability to cope with disruptions in routine, which magnifies his natural OCD personality traits.

While in the Air Force Daniel was deployed to Panama, Iraq and Kuwait, all while working with the combat controllers. He began his career as an electronics technician in a nuclear launch facility. He retired after 22 years as a senior master sergeant.

Daniel subsists on his retirement pay supplemented by freelance programming work. His hobbies are volunteering for the Civil Air Patrol, fitness and skydiving.
