Jay Inslee

Jay Inslee was the Governor of the state of Washington. Shortly after the Sweeps, when the Elma resistance had captured Droney and made contact with Draco, they sought to get the government involved. With help from Peter Kjelstad, they arranged a meet with members of Washington's state government. Little did they suspect the governor would request an audience with them.
The meet with the governor went poorly. He seemed to discount all information they had except the parts that pertained to the Mercenary, Draco. The governor wanted to know the location of his vessel. When the group felt uncomfortable and tried to leave, Inslee demanded they leave Droney behind to study. When the group left, Draco triggered the scout drone's self-destruct mechanism, killing the Governor (who showed every sign of alien mind control) and his WPS Executive Security Detail.
After the governor's suspected demise, reports of orders given by the governor were noted. Whether this means Inslee survived the attack, or these orders were merely given in his name and are disinformation has not been verified.
