Mission Narrative
On 01/31/14 at 1500 hours, 11 members of the Elma Resistance cell were dispatched to Tiger Mountain State Park. Sensor data indicated an alien landing site. This was also the epicenter of the growing atmospheric disturbance that would culminate in the Blackout if not interrupted. The 7-man strike team inserted nearby via UH-60 helicopter, utilizing terrain to block line-of-sight. During their infiltration, the strike team encountered resistance in the form of a park ranger and two hikers, apparently under alien mind control. After a firefight, the team's position was assaulted by a roving alien patrol consisting of one Behemoth and three Grays. This patrol was neutralized, allowing the insertion to proceed.
One of four atmospheric overcharger devices was found and destroyed by Captain AJ Kamastafall. The alien vessel was found in a nearby clearing. Entry was made and a firefight ensued throughout the ship from the boarding ramp to the bridge. All alien threats were neutralized or captured, and the ship secured. This task complete, Captain Kamastafall proceeded to use demo charges to destroy the remaining three overchargers, thus preventing the Blackout.
