Mission Narrative

On 02/11/14 at 1700 hours, 6 X-Com recruit Agents were dispatched to a suspicious murder scene. Evidence of alien weapons and tactics were found at the scene. Further investigation led remote-controlled assets piloted by Douglas Wilson to an alien disguised as a human. This threat was neutralized. Civilian assistance (local police) found suspicious activity at a nearby abandoned residence. The remote asset was deployed, but it tripped the XTs' intrusion alarms and a firefight ensued. The remote asset deployed explosive warheads to demolish the primary structure, and in the exchange, the remote was severely damaged before disengaging.

By the time reinforcements arrived, the majority of XT forces had fallen back, leaving one Gray and a combat drone as a screen to cover their retreat. This token force was neutralized. The site was searched and declared clear of alien occupation. The whereabouts of the remaining XT force is unknown at this time. Their operation may have been delayed or disrupted, but this has not been confirmed.
