Pi Hienzen is a geologist. She is around 25 years of age, but has been in college since high school getting her Doctorate in Geology and Geophysics She is also an extremely good cartographer.
She was recruited after Morrow project members read her doctrinal thesis on the theoretical possibility of a world-wide apocalyptic event and its after-effects using geophysical survey data collected from all over the world.
