Ser Blaise Sterling

Ser Blaise Sterling is the youngest brother of Braddock Sterling, and commander of the Sterling armed forces. He is 37 years old and has one child, a daughter.

Childhood

Blaise was born when his father, Mervyn II, was almost 50. He took an active hand in raising his youngest child, but left his martial training to Darren. Blaise took to it well, but Darren was still cold toward him. He never held anything back and trained him harshly. Because of this Blaise became a strong and determined combatant, and won more than one tournament.

Adulthood

Beyond his service in the cavalry arm of the Sterling military, Blaise has distinguished himself as a talented storyteller and singer. He is very popular among the family and smallfolk, and is renowned at noble gatherings for his aforementioned talents.

Personal

Blaise married his wife Marilyn Blackwood Sterling when he was 16 and she 13. They both share strong, gregarious personalities and are equally popular. Their only frustration has been their lack of children, which is a common family joke.
