Shal Th'Shovar

Shal Th'Shovar is a bartender at Port of Call, the lounge on the FSS Tahoma. As an Andorian, Shal is used to a very cold climate so he wears thin and often sparse clothing. He also sweats a lot and often complains about being warm, but he is very cognizant of hygiene so it does not bother the customers. He is quite naive, and also handsome (thought not socially accomplished). This is his first extended foray away from Andor, and he is very proud of his heritage (though he is uncomfortable discussing it with strangers). He comes from a warrior clan and has 5 older sisters who are all in the imperial guard. He is skilled in ceremonial knife fighting, which he learned from his sisters, but is a devout pacifist who does not hurt or kill any animals or insects if he can avoid it.

Shal volunteers with the biologists in their care for onboard animals, including pets. He hopes to someday become a singer, and he takes dance classes with Leonidas.
