Sparta

General

Sparta is a fair-sized town with a steady population of about 100 people. It sits astride a river, and has a permanent River Baron trading post. It is on a main road, and is about 2 days south of Blue Mount. Water mills on the river provide power to the city, whose chief industry is its fuel distillery. With easy access to fuel, Sparta also has more functioning vehicles than most communities, which see these machines only rarely.

Sparta has a significant mutant population, and while there has been recent tension, the mutant and non-mutated populations have historically gotten along well.
