T'Bok

Lieutenant, Junior Grade T'Bok is a communicable diseases researcher and member of the Life Sciences department of the FSS Tahoma. As a youth, T'Bok lost her father and both of her brothers to an outbreak of Timarian Fever while traveling near the Romulan border. Her mother became obsessive about the incident, and became convinced it was caused by a Romulan biological weapon test.

After spending years gathering evidence, and essentially neglecting her daughter, she presented the evidence to the Vulcan science council, who were intrigued, but unconvinced. She flew into a rage and had to be subdued. Eventually, when she refused to be 'silenced' as she put it, she was jailed. Somehow, she was able to escape and she has been living the life of a fugitive ever since. She has had no contact with her daughter.

T'Bok struggles with what she perceives her reputation to be, that of a criminals daughter. She is very concerned about how others see her, to the point of being more emotional than 'polite' Vulcans are. Even as she tries to distance herself from the stigma of her mothers actions, she also spends free time attempting to vindicate her views, even though deep down she can see her mother was most likely wrong, but too attached to her emotions to admit it.
