My own thoughts:

-I thought the setting wasn't well-developed enough; one of the keys of this from my point of view is a meaty setting with a lot going on, that people want to get into. More preparation would have helped, but then again, am I going to build out a whole campaign world for a one-shot?

-It's too bad it was already like 11 by the time we got to the salt thing, because I think there could have been some epic stuff there (Ed's character kicking off the Great Salt Wars or something).

-I liked the broad strokes you guys wanted to work in. The cannibalism touch was just awesome, and will have to go into the history of this world, and I thought the way you guys wrestled the two warring families back together was great.

-Each little mini-quest had its own flavor, which I also enjoyed.

In terms of flow, the beginning lagged a bit, but I feel that's because you guys didn't really have a complete picture of the world. Ideally you guys would have finished the Salt Chronicles and then faced down Ermine Sandis, but that's a bit of a tall order for a one-shot, I think.

What did you guys think?

--Gdaze 14:01, 5 October 2009 (MST) I enjoyed it, but a few points.

-We got started too late, but that couldn't be helped, it would have been nice to flesh out our guys a bit more.

-I liked all the options we were able to choose from. Opened ended adventures like that are tough to run.

-I do NOT think there should have been more going on. I'll just say this, as a character, too much makes me not care. Its nice to develop the world out, but think about a story. Are there usually a bunch of events going on? Not usually. Mostly it is just a few things, and you might hear about something else in passing. I think the amount of countries out there and what was going on was just fine. Also you want to keep the players at least a little focused while presenting some options to choose from. Again, the level of events was just fine. (This actually has me thinking of how to run some future games)

-I think the ending lagged because you were sick, and a lot of us were really tired. We just ran out of energy.

-I know you are trying to add a lot of flavor, but easier names are appreciated.
