--Jason (talk) 12:33, 28 April 2020 (CDT)Rather than dealing cards at the beginning to know how many times you can try something, how about something that just works along with the card draw? If the lower left value plus the number of previous failed attempts is greater than your skill level at the skill you are attempting, then no further attempts at this tack will be allowed. Those numbers go from 0-5, with only one 5. This might be pretty restrictive, because if your skill level is 1 then 75% of the time you only get one shot, but...maybe that is ok.
