The Exchange Program

An idea for To Trek Again
An excuse to play some non-Federation species on a Starfleet ship, or maybe Federation officers on a non-Federation ship. Taken from the Officer Exchange Program episode.

The Premise

The PCs are strangers in a strange land, trying to form relationships and perform their duties outside of their comfort zone. Maybe the Klingons have some stellar anomalies they need to study. They don't want to waste their own effort doing so, but they also don't want foreign starships parked inside their borders. So some Federation PCs are "exchanged" over to a Klingon ship and given the task of doing what the Klingons don't want to do.

Or maybe it's a majority human Starfleet vessel and all the PCs are uncommon aliens on exchange with it. A chance to play with some different attitudes and value systems? Maybe have a fun poke at those wacky "hoo-mans"?

The Characters

Could be any role and any race. A chance to play some unique without requiring a special-little-snowflake backstory.
