Thomas Decker
Lieutenant Commander Thomas Decker is the tactical officer on the NX-04 Constitution in the Coming Of The Federation Star Trek one shot. When Commander Decker learned of the coming mission, he volunteered to take a demotion so he could fill the position of tactical officer on the ship. Even with this sacrifice, initially he was denied. The Vulcans had been awarded the position of tactical officer by the integrated mission council, but after making an extremely logical, though also passionate, overture to the council, his wish was granted. He is more than 10 years older than Captain Lars Nieweendyk, but still respects his appointment.
