JASON: There is only one Ser in this band of jokers and insane blunderers, so it is only fitting that he post first. It should be of no surprise that given my characters martial abilities I would like to test out the mass combat system. Attack! I also think that the James Blackstone/Iris Dannett wedding idea is something we need to pursue. Plus, anything we can do that fucks up the Freys is good. There is no reason we need to ensure the wedding happens right away, so realistically we could do a couple of months in one session. Maybe you talky types might go and try and secure us some allies who might help us make war or threaten it.
Rumi, can you tell us who borders us, be it other minor houses that exist, ones you make up, or even major ones. A good mix of all could be interesting. Foreknowledge of our neighbors would really be good for us in planning. Depending on who they are, that could influence how reckless we want to be.

Balen's pretty hooked on the Iris/James wedding idea. He thinks it would be a fancy feather in his scheming cap (like the Sorting Hat, except more sinister) to have deflected all the plots against House Sterling and then riposted to seize House Dannett as well. Besides that, he wants to get his hands on some wealth to have more freedom. He's not poor, by any stretch, but he doesn't have the gold to drop on serious purchases either.
