The Alcotalhex system consists of four planets surrounding a small red star. Just outside the planet orbit is an enormous asteroid field. The system is 15.4 light years from the Melorak borders.
Alcotalhex I is molten.
Alcotalhex II is a class L planet and also is the first colony world of Operation Lewis and Clark. Slightly larger than Mars, a median temperature of 50 degrees, geologically inactive, heavily forested, but with limited oceans.
III and IV are too cold for settling but could provide resources in the future. IV has a trace of dilithium which will provide energy in the future.
Colony
Approximately 7800 colonists and 98 ships have chosen to colonize. During the initial colonization process, Starfleet built a orbital platform for planetary defense.
