Rumi, can you tell us who borders us, be it other minor houses that exist, ones you make up, or even major ones.  A good mix of all could be interesting.  Foreknowledge of our neighbors would really be good for us in planning.  Depending on who they are, that could influence how reckless we want to be.

--[[User:Dieterthebold|Dieter the Bold]] 00:27, 16 February 2011 (MST) I, too, would like a little more world-building for the holdings around Blackstone & Sterling to get a better feel for the land. I think the rest of us should also put our heads together to build out the Blackstone & Sterling lands themselves, so we can speak a little more concretely about them. I also propose that we establish the 15th of the month as the time for House Fortune's, whether for rolls or for management to take place. That way we have the first half of the month to be working towards whatever goal we set, then the second half to see it's affects. As for Sterlings plans, I think Month 1 is "Manage Resources = 1 Law", Month 2 and 3 are House Fortune rolls. I think that should we arrange a wedding with Iris Dannett and James Blackstone that we devote any increases to Sterling's Power rating until we gain another 10 points (or 9, if we drop the Green Peasant Levy) so we can buy House Dannett as a second Banner House. After this, I'd say work on Population until we're between 31 and 40 (+3 to House Fortune rolls), then Defense (only 6 more until we can expand our home Tower to a Hall (yeah, yeah, so it takes 3 years; better to start early than, no?). After that, I say we start deflecting positive rolls to our Banner houses (get Dannett out of debt, expand Blackstone & Dannett lands, etc.)

Balen's pretty hooked on the Iris/James wedding idea. He thinks it would be a fancy feather in his scheming cap (like the Sorting Hat, except more sinister) to have deflected all the plots against House Sterling and then riposted to seize House Dannett as well. Besides that, he wants to get his hands on some wealth to have more freedom. He's not poor, by any stretch, but he doesn't have the gold to drop on serious purchases either. Once he has some serious coin in his pocket, he'd like to start a little tour of the Riverlands to start gauging the mood and to subtly, carefully, sniff for hints about the location of ''Fayte''.

What would you guys like to do in the game? What are your short and long term goals? What kinds of things are fun for you? The floor is yours, good sers.

JASON: There is only one Ser in this band of jokers and insane blunderers, so it is only fitting that he post first. It should be of no surprise that given my characters martial abilities I would like to test out the mass combat system. Attack! I also think that the James Blackstone/Iris Dannett wedding idea is something we need to pursue. Plus, anything we can do that fucks up the Freys is good. We should make a solid plan for what we want to do with our house fortune rolls for the next 2-3 months, and try and move on those. There is no reason we need to ensure the wedding happens right away, so realistically we could do a couple of months in one session. Maybe you talky types might go and try and secure us some allies who might help us make war or threaten it.

Rumi, can you tell us who borders us, be it other minor houses that exist, ones you make up, or even major ones. A good mix of all could be interesting. Foreknowledge of our neighbors would really be good for us in planning. Depending on who they are, that could influence how reckless we want to be.
