Officer Ryan Cristelli is the lead patrol officer for the Elma PD, which may not be saying much considering that Elma has a grand total of ten officers (only six of which live within the city limits) to run three shifts. He is generally liked by the community and known by many residents. Some may consider him a bit soft, but as he rationalizes it, "I have to live in this town, too."
Officer Cristelli has been helpful toward the members of the Elma resistance cell, largely in sharing information with them. If there is something amiss in town, Officer Cristelli is often aware of it, and if it is a problem he can't easily solve, he won't hesitate to bring it to the attention of AJ Kamastafall, with whom he had developed a sort of working relationship.
Officer Cristelli is highly dedicated to his job and protecting the community, sometimes to his own detriment. After the Sweeps, he didn't get much sleep at all and continued to patrol and respond to one incident after the next for several days straight. He was finally sidelined after nearly five days of continuous work when Fayth Wilson and Naomi Agincourt convinced him to take a break and get checked out.
He doesn't have much faith in his leadership, suspecting Chief Danforth is too "old-school," reluctant to pick up on modern policing strategies, and more importantly, that he is too easily influenced by people like the Pershings.
Helpful Nature
Matters he has brought to the players' attention include:
Jules Saint seeking asylum
The robbery of the local grocery store and murder of the store owner
Chief Danforth turning over Jules Saint to the Pershings
Behind the Scenes
Officer Ryan Cristelli is actually a police officer in Elma, WA. His portrayal here, however, is completely fictitious, and any similarities with real life are purely coincidental.
