Privateers and Gentlemen is a proposed Star Trek themed RPG set near Deep Space 9.

The Premise

The characters would be the crew of a Federation Q-Ship disguised as a normal civilian freighter operating in the space near Bajor, Cardassia Prime and Deep Space 9. While all (or at least most) of the crew would be Federation personnel, they would all technically be under cover as civilians, acting secretly as privateers. The mission would be to gather intelligence on, and disrupt the operations of, the Maquis as well as the Cardassians.

Alternatively, the characters could actually be civilians acting in the interest of the Federation, which could offer a measure of flexibility. They could work within or outside the law as they see fit, assist the sides they choose, and have an opportunity to shape the political landscape of the sector.
