A candid photo of MSG Feargus Carville during his last deployment.

Career Master Sergeant Feargus Carville is a member of the 75th Ranger regiment, 2nd Battalion, Alpha Company. He joined the Army straight out of high school. He first saw combat in Bosnia, and has served several tours in Iraq and Afghanistan. He has served twenty years in the army, and after this training cycle, was slated to retire with full benefits. Then the aliens attacked.

Carville has earned multiple honors for bravery and heroism in combat operations. He was rotated back stateside after his last tour in order to utilize his extensive experience and dedication to conduct training operations at Joint Base Lewis-McChord.

He is a native of Boston, Massachusetts, and sometimes has a bit of an accent. Long years away from home and being exposed to soldiers from all around the country has caused it to fade some.

Easter Eggs

When the Ref tries to roleplay Carville's "Boston" accent, this NPC often sounds suspiciously Australian.

Sgt. Carville accidentally cleaned house during Operation Torchlight, mostly through a combination of luck and by going after the PCs had softened up the aliens.

Carville seems to have a crush on Fayth, and has asked her out on a "date" on at least one occasion, however that opportunity was missed thanks to the fact that Fayth had reason to believe Carville was going to try and apprehend and/or kill AJ (and possibly her, Doug and Marie). It kind of put a temporary damper on the mood.

Carville and Fayth's relationship seems to be back on track. When Valentine's day came around, she cashed her rain check on the dinner he had offered her previously. How did things go? No one knows yet...

Roughly six months into the campaign, Carville was engaged to Fayth Wilson. So I guess now we know it must not have gone that badly.

Carville's birthday is 8/20/1975

Combat Armor

Carville, among other members of Assault Team Menace, was one of the original recipients of personalized flair for his Composite Body Armor. The engineers who designed his flair picked the following devices: He has the image of a devilish leprechaun posing as a playing card Joker on his back. The word “Joker” is spelled out across his shoulders. He has three chevrons and three rockers on his shoulders, and seven service stripes on his left forearm. On his chest, instead of the name “Carville” is “Dead Red.”
