Heinrich von Toffen is the priveleged son of a minor noble family in Altdorf. Always a sickly lad, Heinrich began suffering from night-terrors shortly after his Dooming on his 10th birthday. His parents initially hid him away out of shame, thinking that he was simply too weak to withstand the fortellings of the Doomsayer. It wasn't until Heinrich began asking questions about family history, secret family history that was only ever discussed in hushed whispers between family elders, that his parents began to take him more seriously. After some discreet investigations by trusted agents and intrusive physicals by doctors, a Doomsayer was finally sent for. After meeting alone with Heinrich for many hours, the Doomsayer of Morr emerged to reveal that the boy was in fact being haunted by the spirit of an ancestor. This ancestor had sworn oaths to join the Cult of Morr, but had gone back on them when the other heirs of the time had died from plague, placing duty to the family over sacred oaths sworn to a god. Unable to find a place in the afterlife, the ancestor had haunted his descendents over the years, searching for one to take his place among the Cult of Morr, fulfilling his oaths for him. The family gained a gloomy reputation as most fell to early deaths over the years, and was ecstatic to finally find a way to shake what had seemed to be a curse. Heinrich was ambivalent about joining the cult, as he didn't like his family making the decision for him, but he'd grown to dislike his family for their poor treatment of him and did find the Cult of Morr to be interesting. Regardless of his feelings, there was never any doubt as to how things would play out. Heinrich was given over to the Cult of Morr and has been trained as raised by them since his 13th birthday. Now having just turned 19, Heinrich is being sent out to gain experience in the world so that he might prove himself strong to the Cult. His family is fully supportive as they see success in the cult as their salvation from the haunting.

Dieter the Bold ... The Tiger Eye Cameo of Ibn-al Azrad
