Ship equipment, for now, is equal in value to the total points played into the loot pile*10000 credits.

Lootz of note (blues and purplez, yo): I'm going to start adding equipment and it's cost here, stuff that you wouldn't find in the CP2020 books/chromebooks, so that people can get an idea of what stuff costs.

1.) Mining Equipment: Mining equipment includes a whole range of options: personal drills (plasma and rotary based, as well as others), vehicular excavators and drills, survey equipment, trucks, refineries, etc. Gemini has fairly advanced mining equipment, since this was a major industry even before the sundering. As such, efficient personal equipment can be had that is sufficient for asteroid harvesting or small scale operations: for larger projects, fairly compact and lightweight but durable machines (mining-bots, excavating machinery, etc.) are available. Of course, this kind of equipment is expensive and heavy: enough personal mining equipment to fit out 10 miners and a single mining-bot would probably weigh 1-2 tons, a mid size vehicular based mining rig would weigh probably 10-25 tons, and a large scale operation can weigh anywhere from 50-1000 tons. Those who focus on mining almost exclusively often build their mining rig directly into their ship: for mining asteroids, the ship attaches directly to the asteroid at locations surveyed for maximum mineral density, the ore is extracted and stored, and the ship departs without anyone even leaving the ship. In this case, the mining equipment is bought with ship points.
