--Matts 11:52, 21 August 2007 (MST)Before we play the first session of WFRP, I want everyone to mail me their initial Spiritual Attributes. If I think some of them might work better if they were different, I'll let you know.
--Gdaze -- Does everyone include me? DUR! So I was looking at the Runesmiths from the Realms of Socery book... OH MAN I WISH I HAD KNOWN ABOUT THEM! They are sooo cool. Plus I've always wanted to play a Runesmith... b'ah. I know Ben was talking about them but I thought he meant Rune Bearers or something.... GAH! Ah well, if I get my guy knocked off that is so my backup.
--BenofZongo 15:08, 21 August 2007 (MST)I leaned away from them when I realized it takes months of work to make a rune. But I agree they are really cool.
--Edmiao 11:40, 22 August 2007 (MST)give me a break. that new rule is silly. is the idea to punish anyone who gets their character killed and has to make a new character? isn't that punishment enough?
--BenofZongo 13:00, 22 August 2007 (MST)It really should have almost no effect on gameplay: just max out your favorite stats, and then jiggle the rest. Example: my current stats are WS 25, BS 20, S 20, T 30, Ag 30 Int 40 Will 40, Fel 40. If I had to remake this character he would be: WS 24, BS 19, S 20, T 31, Ag 31, Int 40, Will 40, Fel 40.
--Gdaze 13:07, 22 August 2007 (MST) Um actually he said they can't end in a zero too.
Eh whadever, a % here or there doesn't matter too much.
Actually instead of the can't end in a 0 or 5... you could make it so we can't leave anything as it is, or lower it. For example my toughness is 20... you can't get that rolling. And you can't get lower by rolling so allowing us to do that lets us min/max. Just a thought.
We just do 0's and 5's because it is easier to keep track of.
