Lt. Maniersi: Flight Officer's Log ..... Joran Maniersi ..... Star Trek: The Triangle Missions

Joran Maniersi, Flight Officer's Log, Stardate 40358.7:

The battle on the Drov'na continues to rage, and we haven't heard from the shuttles sent down to Valtor 2's surface. We received a request from the marine's on the Drov'na emergency medivac and I volunteered to take the Phoenix over as the transport. Ensign Bern Bretchkova accompanied me over as medical support and we arrived in the nearest friendly shuttle bay to find disruptor fire still flying hot and fast down the connecting corridors. Ensign Bretchkova triaged some of our casualties as too critical to move immediately, so I talked with the local Klingon sergeant and offered similar transport to any of their wounded. Once we got everyone stabilized and loaded, I discharged the Phoenix's phasor banks a few times down one of contested corridors and made our deliveries.

We finally received a broken transmission from Prime Team Alpha on Valtor 2 also requesting medivac along with an engineering crew and additional pilots. I then spent the next several hours transporting personnel between the planet and the Niven, avoiding anti-shuttle disruptor fire and vicious cross-winds. We received reports of masses of Klingon dead due to the Orion Blood Fever and apparently a secret lab. Ensign Bretchkova supported by some Marines & Prime Team made a brief reconnaissance and returned with some possibly valuable intel. They managed to pull everyone out with only one casualty and we evacuated the remaining shuttles and engineering crew. We recovered the remainder of the marines from the Drov'na and set course for Starbase 27 and repairs.

Upon return to Starbase 27, we found another ship docked in orbit, an old Miranda-class, the USS Strider. It was in amazingly worse shape than the Niven. Upon beaming over to the starbase, we briefed Captain Carl Curtis on our recent missions and their results. He informed us that Starfleet was sending Rear-Admiral (LH) Harmonson to debrief us and take all sensitive data back to Starfleet Command.
