Alcotalhex

The Alcotalhex system consists of four planets surrounding a small red star. Just outside the planet orbit is an enormous asteroid field. The system is 15.4 light years from the Melorak borders. This was the first colony system for the Operation Lewis and Clark.

Alcotalhex I

Molten planet close to the star. Not viable for colonization or mining activities.

Alcotalhex II

Class L planet and also is the first colony world of Operation Lewis and Clark. Slightly larger than Mars, a median temperature of 50 degrees, geologically inactive, heavily forested, but with limited oceans.

Alcotalhex III

A barren planet with no redeeming qualities. No atmosphere, minimal minerals, no valuable metals or resources.

Alcotalhex IV

Too cold for settling but could provide resources in the future. IV has a trace of dilithium which will provide energy in the future along with metals and minerals.

Colony

Approximately 7800 colonists and 98 ships have chosen to colonize. During the initial colonization process, Starfleet built a orbital platform for planetary defense.
