Wissenland is something of a country province, with its primary industries being farming and mining. It has large tracts of arable land, and close access to both the Vaults and the World's Edge mountain ranges.
Attached to Wissenland is the City-State of Nuln, also called "Jewel of the Empire" for its industry. Both Wissenland and Nuln are presided over by Castellan-Countess Emmanuelle von Leibowitz, whose family has held the title for generations.
Of particular note to the players is the town of Kreutzhofen, a notorious smuggling outpost.
