3/3/3 Lance
Background
Recently formed from two external and one internal transfers, the 3rd Lance of the 3rd Company of the 3rd Battalion of the 20th Avalon Hussars is commanded by Sergeant-Major Javier Mandelos in his Banshee, and supported by Sergeants Pete Bradshaw and Nigel Council in their Crusader and Griffin, respectively. Used more as a reserve lance due to being understrength, 3/3/3 has been the first to see combat on the tour thus far.
Actions
May 25th, 3057, Csomad, Kearney Combat Region: Saw combat against a medium raiding 'Mech force consisting of a Commando, Enforcer, Hunchback and JägerMech. Only armor damage was suffered by the 3/3/3 while destroying the enemy Commando and inflicting severe damage on the JägerMech in return. Hostilities were ended when Sergeant-Major Mandelos negotiated a withdrawal. The enemy commander identified himself as Lt. Gary Palmer serving in the Dawn Imperium.
