BT: Reorganization

The 20th Avalon Hussars have been assigned to garrison duty in the Spinward portion of the Federated Suns to recover from several years of combat assignments against the Clans. 3rd Battalion, assigned to Hoonaar outside Homefront City, received two new transfers: Sergeant Nigel Council and Sergeant-Major Javier Mandelos. They met with Kommandant Lucia Kang along with Sergeant Pete Bradshaw and were assigned to the newly formed 3/3/3 Lance of 3/3 Company, under Hauptmann Joseph Jones. Kommandant Kang welcomed the two newcomers and implored everyone to remain professional and keep politics out of the service.
Barely a week had gone by for the new lance to get to know each other before orders came down for 3rd Company to deploy to Csomad in response to a local nobleman's fears of raids. Hauptmann Jones didn't think much of it, but we deployed as ordered, with 3rd Lance stationed in Cong-jin. Stationed near the waterfront, the Lance performed PR duty for the locals and accepted an invitation to dinner from the planetary nobleman, Count Rivirni. Dinner seemed to go well, with Pete appearing to find Count Rivirni's daughter Sirai Rivirni to be someone worth pursuing. The lance was invited to stay at the manor West House and spent a good night, but had a rude awakening when alarms started ringing. Rushed out of bed, the 3rd Company channel reported 'Mechs being combat-dropped near Chong-jin and the Lance barely powered up their own 'Mechs in time to turn and meet the incoming enemy.
